Dear Szitizen!

Purchasing the entry ticket only entitles you to enter Sziget Festival (Event) if you accept the regulations of the General Contract Terms and Conditions (GCTC) determined by Sziget Ltd. (Sziget), the Sziget Festival policy that is the 1st appendix of the GCTC and take notice of the fact that keeping these regulations is checked by the organizers. You may enter the Event on the date indicated on the pre-purchased ticket, according to the conditions stated on it.

Tickets bought in advance will be exchanged for a wristband on entry. You must wear the wristband (weekly or day) on your wrist all the time throughout its validity. It will be checked by organizers on entry and exit, and may also be checked on the entire territory of Sziget, any time throughout the Event.

Tickets:

Sziget Day Ticket (regular day):

Visitors may enter the Event on a given day from 6am until 5am on the following day, Sziget Day Ticket entitles Visitors to reside at the festival until 8am the next day. If the Visitor is not wearing a wristband entitling him/her to stay for the following day, the Sziget Day Ticket offers the services of the Sziget 5 Days Pass (non-camping). In case the Visitor is wearing at least 2 (two) Sziget Day Ticket wristbands valid for at least two consecutive days, services are the same as in the case of a Sziget Weekly Pass for the given days, with the exception of Sziget not guaranteeing a tent-place. Obviously, in order to obtain these services it is not enough to possess the Sziget Day Tickets, but it is necessary to wear the day-wristbands. One can visit the Event on Day -1 and Day 0, if bought a ticket for these days. The Day Ticket for Day -1 is valid from 2pm on the given day until 8am the following day. The Day Ticket for Day 0 is valid from 6 am on the given day until 8 am the following day.

Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping):

Visitors may enter Sziget with this type of ticket on the Day -1 of the Event (11 August 2014), starting from 10am, and Visitors are entitled to stay throughout the entire duration of the Event (until 18 August 8Am). Sziget offers Visitors a tent-place and Visitors are entitled to use the shower rooms as well. With the Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping) the Visitor is entitled to enter on Day -1 and Day 0 (11 and 12 August 2014).

Sziget 5 Days Pass (non-camping):

Sziget 5 Days Pass (non-camping) does not entitle Visitors to enter on the Day -1 and Day 0 (11 and 12 August 2014). Visitors may enter the Event with it from the 1st regular day (13 August 2014), starting from 6am, until the end of the Event. Visitors cannot sleep in the area of Sziget and cannot stay in the areas reserved for Visitors with a Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping)/Sziget Caravan Camping Ticket/Sziget VIP Camping Ticket, and they cannot use the shower rooms, either.

Sziget Caravan Camping Ticket:

Sziget Caravan Camping Ticket entitles Visitors to stay on the area referred to as Caravan Camping, where festival goers arriving in mobile homes or caravans can camp, starting from the 11th August from 10 am. Mobile homes constitute vehicles with fixed beds, therefore station wagons with folded down back-seats or microbuses with laid down mattress do not entitle the Visitor to use the Caravan Camping, even if Sziget Caravan Camping Tickets have been purchased. Sziget Caravan Camping Ticket entitles the Visitor to ONE entry between the 11th August and the last day of the Event, so in case the Visitor leaves the festival site during the event, they will not be able to come back into the camping area with the ticket. In order to use Sziget Caravan Camping, each person in the mobile home/caravan must have a Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping).

Sziget VIP Camping Upgrade Ticket:

Sziget VIP Camping Upgrade Tickets entitle Visitors to stay on the territory of the so-called VIP Camping throughout the duration of the Event, starting from the Day -1 (11 August 2014) from 10 am. It is only possible to reside at the VIP Camping for those who possess a Sziget VIP Camping Upgrade Ticket and a Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping) at the same time. VIP Camping offers a wide range of extra facilities and services to Visitors.

Alternativa Camping Upgrade Ticket:

Alternativa Camping Upgrade Tickets entitle Visitors to stay on the territory of the so-called Alternativa Camping throughout the duration of the Event starting from the Day -1 from (11 August 2014) 10 am. It is only possible to reside at the Alternativa Camping for those who possess a Sziget Alternativa Camping Upgrade Ticket and a Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping) at the same time. Alternativa Camping offers a wide range of extra facilities and services to Visitors.

Apero Camping Upgrade Ticket:

Apero Camping Upgrade Tickets entitle Visitors to stay on the territory of the so-called Apero Camping throughout the duration of the Event starting from the Day -1 from (11 August 2014) 10 am. It is only possible to reside at the Apero Camping for those who possess a Sziget Apero Camping Upgrade Ticket and a Sziget Weekly Pass (with camping) at the same time. Apero Camping offers a wide range of extra facilities and services to Visitors.

Ticket Information

In case your ticket/wristband expires, but you would like to stay longer, you are welcome to purchase a new wristband within the territory of the Event at City Centre or at any wristband-controller. If your wristband is not valid, you are required to leave the territory of the Event.
If your wristband is not valid, you are required to leave the territory of the Event.

Tickets/wristbands are non-transferable to another person! A wristband counts as a valid entry pass only if it is worn on the wrist. Wristbands that are DAMAGED - glued, cut, with a patent undone, broader than the hand - are considered as INVALID! Ticket forgers and those participating in forging will be prosecuted. Damaged and lost wristbands cannot be replaced.

Children prior to their 11th birthday can enter the Event free of charge.
Visitors under the age of 14 can only enter and stay at the Event with adult guidance.

For the sake of your own safety, "bodysurfing" (when the crowd sends someone over their heads towards the stage) is strictly forbidden on Sziget. In case it still happens to you, the security staff will lead you out to the edge of the given site. If it occurs again, unfortunately you will have to leave the area of Sziget immediately!

Driving into the site of the Event without permission is not permitted! In order to approach the event, we would like to ask you to use public transport, ferries or the taxi service.

WHAT CANNOT BE BROUGHT IN WITH YOU?

NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN ANY QUANTITY inside the area of the Event. Regarding non-alcoholic beverages you can bring in one plastic bottle, but in case the responsible authority orders summer heat alert you can bring in any quantity of non-alcoholic beverages. In addition, a maximum of 20 packs of cigarettes, 10 boxes of cigarillos (depending on size) and 10 pieces of cigars are allowed to the Event. Food is only allowed in non-commercial quantity.

Important: Objects made of glass, striking and cutting tools, umbrellas and any objects endangering others’ physical health are FORBIDDEN to be brought into the area of the Event! According to valid laws, you are not allowed to carry objects specifically endangering public safety (knives with a blade longer than 8 cm, switch knives, gas sprays, black jacks etc.) Products of such nature must be handed to the security service at the entrance in custody, so that they can check them.

PETS

Only pets that are usually considered "peaceful" (“pets” meaning typically: dogs, ferrets, certain murine-types) may enter the territory of the Event, accompanied by their owner. However, it is not recommended to bring pets to the event, so we advise you to leave them at home or use the services of one of the pet care kennels in the nearby vicinity. Should you still want to bring your pet, you are required to possess all the items listed below:

(1) valid inoculation certificates with an anti-rabies jab not older than 1 (one) year,
(2) identification (readable tattoo or microchip),
(3) a leash, muzzle, dog-collar and a pendant with the owner's phone number (on which they can be reached throughout the Event).

The above-mentioned items can be checked at the entrance, and should any of them be lacking, the pet will not be allowed in. By bringing the pet into the festival, the owner acknowledges that in accordance with the regulations of the authorities, the dog and the ferret must be held on a leash with a muzzle throughout the whole duration of the festival. Sziget reserves the right to deny the entry of certain unique animals.

Observations concerning hospitality, organizing, or any other subject (complaints, ideas) are welcome to e-mail address.

OTHER

- A sound and film recording will be produced of the Event. Every person who appears on the recordings can be name checked only with their agreement, however they may not have any claims to the makers of the recordings or the organizers of the Event.
- It is allowed to take photos, but film and sound recordings about the programs can only be made with the written agreement of the organizers.
- On the area of Sziget, it is forbidden to carry out any commercial or advertising activities without the written permission of the organizers.
- In the bars, intoxicated guests and Visitors under the age of 18 cannot be served with any alcoholic beverages.
- It is important to remember that prevailing laws say that the consumption of narcotics is strictly forbidden on the area of the Event, too.
- Visitors are strongly encouraged to take care of natural values and not to drop any litter.
- Organizers take no responsibility for possible damages occurring in persons or valuables.
- There are several left-luggage offices and safe deposits in operation at the Event. The security staff takes limited responsibility only for objects left at these places! We cannot take responsibility for valuables left at other places, therefore we recommend the use of storage places.

IT IS FORBIDDEN AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO SWIM IN THE DANUBE!

The Event will also be held in the case of bad weather.

The right to make changes in the program is reserved.
